How To Vote
✅ Advance Polls
Each ward has one advance poll location. To find yours, click here. The Advance Polling dates are as follows:
- Friday October 7, 10 am to 8 pm
- Saturday October 8, 10 am to 5 pm
- Friday October 14, 10 am to 8 pm
- Saturday October 15, 10 am to 5 pm
✅ Vote on Election Day
Election Day is Monday, October 24 and polls will be open from 10 am – 8 pm. The preliminary list of poll locations can be found here.
✅ Ballot on-demand is being piloted in select locations at post-secondary schools, shelters, and the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre. To see who qualifies and where and when these special polls will be held, click here.
✅ Vote By Mail
This year, eligible voters are now able to request a ballot kit to be sent to their homes. The deadline to request a ballot kit has now passed. If you have any issues with the form or questions about the process, call 905-546-4365. Please note ballots must be received by the City by Monday, October 24, 2022.
