On Monday morning, Hamilton Mayoral Candidate Keanin Loomis received an endorsement from the United Steelworkers Local 7135, the latest in a series of endorsements from across the community.
“I’m proud to receive this important endorsement from an organization I respect and one that plays a vital role in our local business community,” said Loomis. “Hamilton is a steel town and it’s an honour to have the support of USW Local 7135 and its hardworking members, who are truly the backbone of our city.”
At the announcement hosted at the USW Local 7135 offices this morning, Frank Crowder, President of United Steelworkers Local 7135 provided an endorsement:
“We are here today to formally endorse Keanin Loomis as our candidate for Mayor for the City of Hamilton,” said Crowder. “We really do need change at City Hall. We like his message that he won’t be afraid to do things differently. We need someone willing to be bold and aim high for our city. Keanin isn’t a career politician. He is someone who is devoted to making a difference in this city. His experience and background will be an asset at City Hall.”
